The Wadden Sea Centre benefits from pallet truck from Logitrans!

The Wadden Sea Centre, located near Ribe in the southern part of Denmark, has for some months been housing the special silent Logitrans pallet truck, the so-called Panther Silent.

"My nature guides love it. We use it every day, when moving goods in our café area or bringing material into our exhibition area. We enjoy that we can drive between our guests without disturbing them while enjoying our exhibition or a quiet cup of coffee!".

Said by an enthusiastic Klaus Melbye, Leader at the Wadden Sea Centre

The Wadden Sea Centre opened February 2017 as a visitor centre for the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. With this opening, a new and exciting exhibition, "THE MIGRATORY BIRDS' WADDEN SEA", has been created in a new and beautiful house. Reeds are used on the facade, roof and underlay, and the lists of robinia-wood gently adapt the Wadden Sea Centre to the flat marshland. The new Wadden Sea Centre is the creation of a unique architecture and an aesthetic and modern exhibition, which has already achieved several awards.

In this new and unique house, you can now – if you are lucky – meet the black Logitrans pallet truck, the Panther Silent… Because you won´t hear it coming! It is tested to below 60 dBA. As another benefit, the soft wheels are also very gentle to the floors.

At Logitrans, manufacturer of material handling equipment, e.g. stackers, highlifters and customised handling solutions, they are very proud to know that Panther Silent is being used at the Wadden Sea Centre: “In our area, we are very proud of the Wadden Sea Centre – a unique and highly visited place - and we are therefore honoured and happy that the Wadden Sea Centre greatly benefits from our silent pallet truck”, says Erling Pedersen, Senior Consultant at Logitrans and Vice Chairman of the Wadden Sea Centre's Board of Directors.

Logitrans has designed the silent pallet truck for areas, in which movement of pallets and stock should not cause inconvenience to the customers. And now also guests at the Wadden Sea Centre benefit from the silent transport!
